Stella @ SWF: A Prize of One’s Own
The Stella Prize for Australian women’s writing was awarded for the first time in April this year. Meanwhile, the UK’s The Women’s Prize for Fiction – formerly the Orange Prize – has been in existence for almost 20 years and is now firmly established on the international literary prize landscape. Join novelist and co-founder, Kate Mosse, in discussion with the winner of the inaugural Stella Prize and Stella Prize judge Claudia Karvan, about the importance of a prize of one’s own. This session will be moderated by Stella Prize chair Aviva Tuffield.
A Sydney Writers Festival event at The Loft, Pier 2/3, Hickson Road, Walsh Bay.
