The Stella Prize is thrilled to be holding three events at this year’s Melbourne Writers Festival. On Wednesday 27 August, we’ll present an exciting preview of our soon-to-be-launched Stella Prize Schools Program; on Saturday 20 August, Clare Wright will deliver the 2014 Stella Lecture; and we’ll end the festival with the geeky good fun of the Stella Prize Spelling Bee, as part of the LitHop mega-event on Sunday 31 August.

Stella Prize Schools Program: Girls’ Books / Boys’ Books

The Stella Prize Spelling Bee @ LitHop
Explore Melbourne by foot and the 96 tram and celebrate Melbourne’s independent, emerging and fringe writers on this curated literary hop through the city. Choose your own adventure along the route, through 14 separate events, with pop-up events including book readings, debates, music, trivia, races and literary karaoke!
