Dr Kerryn Goldsworthy (chair)
Dr Kerryn Goldsworthy is a freelance writer, author and critic, and a former lecturer in literature at the University of Melbourne and a past editor of Australian Book Review. She has judged many literary prizes, including the Age Book of the Year Award, the Commonwealth Writers Prize and the Miles Franklin Literary Award. Her most recent book is Adelaide, part of the NewSouth series on Australian cities.
Kate Grenville
is one of Australia’s most celebrated authors. Her bestselling novel The Secret River has been published in more than twenty countries and received numerous awards, including the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize, and was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize and the Miles Franklin Literary Award. Claudia Karvan
Claudia Karvan is an award-winning Australian film and television actor perhaps best known her roles in the series The Secret Life of Us and Love My Way. She was also a producer and writer for Love My Way, and is currently co-creator and star of the series Spirited.
Rafael Epstein
Rafael Epstein is a celebrated television and radio journalist who has worked for many years at the ABC on their news and current affairs shows, including the 7.30 Report, Foreign Correspondent and Lateline. He has won two Walkley Awards for his work with ABC radio. He currently hosts the Drive program on 774 ABC Melbourne.
Fiona Stager
Fiona Stager is the co-owner of Avid Reader Bookshop and Cafe. She is the immediate past-president of the Australian Booksellers Association. Fiona lives in West End, Brisbane, with her family, five chickens and a native bee hive.
