Lucid
Premise
A lucid dream is a dream you can 100% control. What would you do with this power?
Where does the dream end and begin? Does being in this dream affect your mental and emotional state? This is going to be written on the idea that no one truly knows what is real or not.
The main character lucid dreams but slowly loses the border between dream and reality. In the end, we would not know what was happening in the dream or “real world”. This leaves our protagonist helpless and unknowingly making bad decisions that may or may not affect the Protagonist’s life. The protagonist’s ideas are influenced by the fact that nobody is truly watching but themself.
Rising climax
The stage lights up brightly and the protagonist walking, wondering if they had killed their 3-month-old.
This is mental. This is insane. This is… This is great
What is wrong with me, nothing is right ( “nothing is right” is said in a resourceful tone )
I am a rational human being with feelings and I am just dreaming. So it’s ok
I can… I can do anything I please and be completely fine.
(protagonist takes a seat and begins to look at their hands covered in the infant’s blood )
Huh? This is too real to be true. I should be waking up anytime soon
( 45 minutes pass and absolute silence fills the air a cloudy white fog falls over the stage )
I’m not waking up! ( they say with scarcity. The protagonists look back at their hands to see the blood gone) The stupid dream can’t even stay consecutive. If you won’t wake me up I’ll do it myself by… by jumping of the balcony ( the protagonist leaves the room noticing there is blood everywhere throughout the apartment. The protagonist enters the balcony and looks over the edge and begins to throw themself off. The protagonist was found dead later that morning. The whereabouts of the child however are unknown. Don’t believe everything you see. )
