A stellar result in our end-of-financial-year appeal

A very special thank you to those who gave so generously to Stella’s recent end-of-financial-year appeal. We’ve just received a final tally from GiveNow, the not-for-profit group who kindly manage our online donations, and we raised $21,624!

This gives a fabulous boost to our fundraising efforts and brings our goal – to secure the Stella Prize as a force for good, forever – several steps closer to realisation.

We’ll be writing soon to thank each contributor individually but, in the interim, wanted to announce what we think is an awesome result, and offer our heartfelt appreciation to all who gave.

Equally, thanks to each and every one of you for all the many ways you support Stella and its vital agenda: by coming along to our events, buying books by Australian women writers, talking about Stella to your friends and colleagues, reading Stella’s longlists and shortlists with your book club, and in myriad other ways. Your loyalty and commitment spurs us on – and we are very grateful.
