The 2016 Stella Prize Shortlist Book Club
The Stella Shortlist Book Club is back for 2016!
Beginning Monday March 14, you’re invited to join us on Twitter every Monday night, 8.00 – 9.00pm AEDT to discuss one of the books on the 2016 Stella Prize shortlist.
Stella will lead the discussion on Twitter (@thestellaprize) and we’d love you to join in using the #stella16 hashtag. You don’t have to join in every week – just swing by if you’ve read the week’s allocated book (or even if you haven’t!) and feel like a chat. We’d love to hear your thoughts on the outstanding books in contention for the 2016 Stella Prize.
Sign up here to register your interest in joining the Stella Shortlist Book Club.
Each Monday morning, you’ll receive an email notification to remind you about that night’s meeting. You’ll also receive a digital pack containing reading notes, exclusive interviews, links, reviews and more for the following week’s title, to whet your appetite.
The Stella Shortlist Book Club will run 8.00–9.00pm AEDT on the following dates:
Monday 14 March – Six Bedrooms by Tegan Bennett Daylight
Monday 21 March – Hope Farm by Peggy Frew
Monday 28 March – A Few Days in the Country: And Other Stories by Elizabeth Harrower
Monday 4 April – The World Without Us by Mireille Juchau
Monday 11 April – The Natural Way of Things by Charlotte Wood
Monday 18 April – Small Acts of Disappearance: Essays on Hunger by Fiona Wright
The 2016 Stella Prize winner will be announced on Tuesday 19 April.
We’re looking forward to chatting with you. Happy reading!
