25/09/16: Newtown Review of Books Stella Reviewing Masterclass
Newtown Review of Books is partnering with the Stella Prize to present a Reviewing Masterclass on 25 September 2016. If you’re an aspiring or emerging reviewer or blogger, this is a chance to develop and strengthen your skills.
The masterclass will be run jointly by NRB editors Jean Bedford and Linda Funnell. Offering practical tips and advice as well as discussion of ethical and legal issues, the masterclass will cover different approaches to critical practice, an overview of the reviewing landscape, and include a handy checklist.
Participants will also have the opportunity to write a review within two weeks of the masterclass and have it critiqued by the editors.
